Scope & Covered Products
This policy covers ANG wiring devices and other marine power products purchased directly from ANG Power Systems or authorized resellers for professional marine use.
Limited Warranty (1 Year)
This is a “limited warranty” within the meaning of the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. ANG wiring devices and marine power products are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
This limited warranty applies only when the product has been:
- properly stored, installed, operated, and maintained;
- used under normal operating conditions for marine applications; and
- installed and used by ANG recommendations and applicable industry standards.
Exclusions
This limited warranty does not cover, and ANG will not be responsible for, any damage, failure, or defect resulting from:
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, or improper handling;
- improper installation, wiring, mating to incompatible connectors, over-current/over-voltage conditions, or lack of required maintenance;
- modification, alteration, or any unauthorized repair or service;
- environmental or external causes (including corrosion due to improper sealing, ingress protection violations, or exposure beyond rated specifications);
- deliberate or mechanical damage (e.g., impact, cutting, sawing, hammering, or similar);
- normal wear and tear.
Exclusive Remedy
If a product is determined by ANG, upon inspection, to have a covered defect during the warranty period, ANG will, at its sole discretion, repair the product or replace it with a new or refurbished product of equal or greater value. If neither repair nor replacement is commercially feasible, ANG may issue a refund of the original purchase price. This remedy is the sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty.
No Returns / No Refunds
All sales are final for non-defective products. Due to the specialized nature of our marine power products and the risk of improper handling or temporary use before return requests, ANG does not accept returns and does not issue refunds for products that are not defective. Refunds will not be issued for products that have been used, installed, connected to power, or otherwise placed into operation. This policy prevents misuse, such as “use and return.”
How to Make a Warranty Claim (RMA)
To initiate a warranty claim, please get in touch with ANG USA INC and include:
- proof of purchase (order number, invoice, or receipt);
- product model and, if applicable, serial number;
- a description of the issue and when it occurred;
- clear photos and/or video showing the claimed defect and overall installation context.
ANG may provide troubleshooting steps and/or request the return of the item for inspection. Products must be shipped in adequate packaging. If the claim is approved, ANG will cover repair or replacement per the Exclusive Remedy above. If the inspection reveals that the product is not defective or is excluded from coverage, it will be returned to the customer at their expense.
Limitation of Liability & State Law Notice
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ANG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of use, downtime, haul-out costs, or labor for removal/reinstallation) arising out of or related to the use of the product, whether based in warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; in such states, some restrictions may not apply to you.
